Axis and Allies Europe Italy

- by Cublie -

Intrduction

Cublie created three versions of his Italy rules.

The Rules

The boring version: Add one Italian Infantry to Albania, all units in North and South Italy are Italian, all forces in Tunisia are Italian, and the German fleet in the Med. is now Italian.

The semi-boring version: Add one Italian Infantry to Albania, all units in North and South Italy are Italian, all forces in Tunisia are still German, one German troop in Yugoslavia is removed and replaced with an Italian troop, and the German fleet in the Med. is now Italian.

The cool version: Add one Italian Infantry to Albania, all units in North and South Italy are Italian, all forces in Tunisia are still German, one German troop in Yugoslavia is removed and replaced with an Italian troop, add two tanks and three troops in Egypt for the British, add two troops one tank and one artillery for the Germans in Libya, Italian tanks defend at a roll of one (the most common version had a pitiful 6-20 mm of armor), Britain may buy one infantry a turn and instead of placing it at a factory placing it in the Middle East, and the German fleet in the Med. is now Italian.

Before the game starts the Allies place the units they purchased with the additional 12 IPCs first. Then Germany places their additional units.

The Map

This variant is played on a adapted map. Below is the area of the map that has changed. Click here for the full map (390 kB). (No copy available)
